Officially named Armação dos Búzios,

Buzios, officially named Armação dos Búzios, It´s one of the most beautifull beaches in the WORLD!, a small peace of heaven where you can rest, enjoy the good life and their exquisite and truly exotic food.

It was unknown untill Brigitte Bardot went there in 1964 for a vacation with her boyfriend at that time, that put Buzios on the spot. The people recognize the beauty and peace of the place and since then the tourism never ends.

Búzios is home to over twenty beaches of all types; windsurf, surf, calm, cold, mild... And, they're all within a few miles of each other. Remember to rent a car from Home, do everything in advance or you will be end paying twice the worth for every little thing you want or need to do.

I almost forgot ! You will find the local shops simply Unique! not for nothing they call Buzios the playground of the rich ;)  the finest things that money can buy you can get them there.

Buzios is called that way because of this little sea shell, the same ones that the fortune tellers use to read your future (really popular in Brazil)  Is really cute right?

I have a bunch at my place, although the old people say that inside the house they bring bad luck and outside they bring the good fortune :).

Oh my god! those beaches, I can nearly describe what you are going to feel when you can finally stand in that powder sand, looking at the sun rise or fall, drinking caipirinha (their national drink) in a pineapple, feeling their music while you watch the natives dance Capoeira ( dancing mixed with martial arts, perfectly coordinated.).

There are many many places where you can go and they are all little paradises on earth, so grab a map , close your eyes and point your finger, it doesn´t matter, they are all equally exquisite.

Some of the cities are more expensive than others, but it´s one of the more inexpensive countries anyway.

I advice you to stay in a hotel, alhotugh the houses for rent are amazing, they are not that secure.

If you decide to go without a travel agency, you need to take some precautions, the same if you want to rent a car and go out there by yourself, if you came across a  red light and it´s 2 am in the morning, look both sides and just go on, If you respect the light, the thieves will take everything you have.  in the day light you should have no problem.

Dance, Dance, Dance... and don´t forget to smile, you are in the happiest country in the world.
