Fortaleza

Fortaleza is the capital of the state of Ceará, and is located on the northeast coast. The city has 2 nice beaches, Praia de Iracema and Beira Mar, and you dont want to miss the Praça do Ferreira, the major square, that has restaurants, shops, movie theaters and many stores. You might want to check out the Museu de Arte e Cultura Popular museum, for a glimpse of folk art and cultural relics. When you are at the beach, you can look for the crab vendor and enjoy some tasty snacks and coconut water or beer.
